Gifted Matters has been committed to expanding the awareness of clinicians about the particular issues facing gifted individuals since opening its doors in 2009. To that end, we train and employ pre-licensed clinicians, providing clinical supervision to help them grow as professionals, and to allow us to serve more clients. At any given time, we may employ up to two pre-licensed clinicians. In addition to formal clinical training in-house, Gifted Matters’ Director provides clinical consultation to licensed professionals. Areas of specialty include giftedness, twice-exceptionality, homeschooling, educational choices, practice building, creating a team to support challenging clients, and clinician self-care.
